Want a makeover? Go for it!! (AKA Interactive Feature)
Yes, professional makeovers can be expensive. But, the way you feel afterward is priceless.
And, drum-roll please, there are some places that will do it “for free” if you buy at least one of the products they used on you. So, for example, if you agree to buy just the eye shadow they’ll still do it, hoping that you’ll tell your friends and family about what a wonderful job they’ve done.
As I’ve said in the previous post, you just have to “shop around” to see where would be the right place for you to go. Here’s an interactive map to make your search a little easier. Enjoy!!

Victoria’s Secret…not just for delicates anymore.
That’s right. Victoria’s Secret has a whole beauty section.
I’m sure pretty much every one of you knew it already, but I decided to start my makeup conquest there.
I drug my friend Melissa with me, not that she was complaining…she’s like me when it comes to shopping for this stuff.
Once we got in there, I was pretty shocked at their makeup selection. Considering I have only ever gone in there strictly for perfume or clothes, I never bothered to look at it. We spent a good hour in there, looking at the different kinds of smells and makeup that they had. It was a little pricey, I will admit, but once I cashed out, it wasn’t that bad.
The “damage”:
Love Spell perfume, Amber Romance perfume, and Pure Seduction body spray- $24 (they were having a sale: 3 for $24)
Brilliant lip shine in Possession (pink)- $10 (the only thing I had to pay full price for)
Beauty Rush wet/dry shadow in Glamerald (green), Beauty Rush liquid glitter liner in Plumburst (purple)- $12 (another sale: 2 for $12)
I must’ve gone at a good time.
Having already tested out the products, I definitely recommend them. Victoria’s Secret works out in my books.
PS- in my next post, I’ll have a slide show from my trip!!

Going back to eye color…
I forgot to mention one product that I like a lot when it comes to popping out the color of your eyes:
Almay Intense I-Color Play Up and Bring Out eye products

(photos courtesy of Almay)
They really do bring out your eye color.
I have the Play Up eyeshadow and mascara for blue eyes, and I’m going to go and get the set for green eyes very soon.
At Target, the products run for about $5.99-$7.99. For the price, you get a really good product.
Go ahead and try it out!

My mission…
I may not be a professional at this, but I sure have a lot of tools at my disposal, and a ton of ideas.
