Multimedia Interview
I know this is a little late, but I finally got the video up and running.
She’s excellent at what she does. She may not be famous now, but just keep her name in the back of your mind
Here’s what she had to say for my interview:
When did you first start wearing makeup?
When I was younger, I would stand in the powder room with my mom, smothering lipstick all over my face….trying to put eyeliner on was another story, however (laughs). I was about 16 when I started perfecting the craft.
What sparked your interest in doing makeovers?
I always loved how Pam Anderson did the “Smokey Eye” and perfecting this was my mission. Five years later, I think I’ve got it down to a science.
How much makeup do you own?
Too much. The necessities, I prefer to call them.
What is your favorite type of makeup to apply?
I like the Rockstar look, and the Smokey Eye look.
Do you have a favorite look?
The Pin-Up/Retro-girl look is my favorite.
You told me that you work at Sephora in JC Penney’s in the Cherry Hill Mall. How long have you been working there?
One year, give or take.
Do you want to make a career out of this?
Definitely. I always wanted to find a job that I enjoyed. Makeup is something that I am passionate about, and to be lucky enough to do makeovers all day, “It can’t get any better than that!”
How many Youtube videos have you made? Do you like making them?
About 20. My videos range from everyday make-up to Club make-up. Kim Kardasian look, Pam Anderson look, Christinas Red Lip Retro Look, you name it, I’ve done it all.

Interviewee’s videos
Youtube is such a useful tool. Not only is it useful, but it’s also a way to get your creative work out into the world.
My multimedia interviewee, Roberta Yantorno (you’ll see more about this later), has her own channel (bobbiyantorno) on the site. She has some videos on how to do her favorite looks, and some very useful tips. She is also an accomplished singer, so if you’re into music, check out her performances. She’s amazing, trust me.
Anyway, I wanted to post up a couple videos of hers that were my favorites. Enjoy!!
*This is a classic daytime look, as she calls it.
*This is a bolder look, using green and yellow colors.
